The Belak is a ceremonial medallion from East Timor, traditionally associated with bravery and honour and presented to warriors returning from battle.
This necklace reimagines the distinctive circular form of the Belak as a contemporary pendant. A polished sterling silver ring frames a natural gemstone, creating a simple, refined design with a story at its heart.
Suspended from a 40cm sterling silver/gold vermeil trace chain, the pendant is designed to sit neatly at the neckline. Delicate in form yet powerful in meaning, the Belak necklace carries a story of bravery and honour close to the heart.
