A one-of-a-kind recycled 9ct gold single earring inspired by the invisible threads that connect family, heritage and belonging.
Tali means “rope” in both Tetum and Bahasa Indonesia.
Tali I was the first Tali piece created for the collection. Its linked form grew from experimentation during a difficult period in my personal life and became a reminder of family, belonging and the feeling of finding home in a new place.
The earring is made from three main elements: a recycled gold charm formed by melting and pressing gold granules, handmade chain links pulled and soldered from gold wire, and a butterfly back connected to the chain for a secure fastening.
The imperfect links are intentional — a reflection of the imperfect but enduring connections between us.
